The first quarter of 2013 began with a bang for us! We worked with Tribal DDB to produce two BC Hydro videos, and had a blast designing the characters for the Power Smart BC Hydro spot that played during the month of April. The main challenge was to create characters that fit with their existing icon aesthetics. We’re getting excited to ramp up a new quarter, with some cool projects on the horizon. Stay tuned!

Seasons greetings from us here at Linetest Collective! We hope your holidays are filled with fun, friends, and lots of good stories. It’s been a busy year, and we hope to make 2013 another memorable one. In the meantime, grab some egg nog and enjoy our 2012 wrap up video.

This summer was a busy one for Linetest!

We worked on some pretty unique projects, including our collaboration with My Loud Speaker on the Licensed Optician’s interactive installation that toured across Canada, and a feature video for Trulia, a real-estate information website. We also… worked with the great crew at DDB to complete a summers full of BCLC digital signage, are wrapping up a music video for the amazingly talented Charlie Damara, welcomed a new member (Hi, Natalie!), AND are in the process of re-vamping our space. All in all, a productive summer and exciting fall/winter to come.

The past 2 months has been quite busy here in the office as we worked furiously to finish a wonderful project for the Licensed Opticians. It was amazing to work with different opticians that were flown in from all over Canada to shoot this series. We learned so much about the profession, that I find myself preaching to friends and family about the importance of going to an optician! These videos will be made public soon, so we can share them to everyone, but for now heres a screen!

We have just recently moved into our new office space with www.myloudspeaker.ca at 1009 E Cordova Street, Vancouver! We are very excited to move forward with our new projects, and collaborating with new artists in this space. Come by and visit us anytime.

Here’s a little something for our friend, Dave Chen. We ended up watching Dave perform in a Hip Hop Dance competition at the Harbour Dance Centre in Downtown, Vancouver. Hopefully, he’ll be teaching us some of those moves.

2011 has been an awesome year, we’ve accomplished so much! We just wanted to thank everyone who helped us a long the way by doing what we love, a Christmas video! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
