The Princess Switch: Switched Again
Brought on by our friends at The Sequence Group, our team embodied the true holiday spirit to create this festive title sequence for Netflix’s, The Princess Switch 2, starring Vanessa Hudgens.
Inspired by Saul Bass, we developed an illustration style that felt tactile, raw and nostalgic. Many of the illustrated scenes we created were references to scenes in the actual movie, so the designs had to be detailed and nuanced. Given that the style was purposefully flat, we looked at various ways to make the illustration pop! We utilized 3D animation techniques to elevate transitions, and had certain props move around in the “Z space” for added dimension.
