Summer 2020 & 2021
We had an absolutely delicious time working with BBDO on their Thrifty’s Food Summer Campaign for two years in a row! This huge multi-deliverable project meant we smashed out 3D asset designs, 2D social assets, print POS assets, and both TVC and OLV animations.
Creatively, we were inspired by the iconic countryside signage you see at local farms. Our goal was to beautifully balance a realistic-looking product, inside a completely illustrated 2D world. To do this, we used a mix of techniques from 3D all the way to frame-by-frame animation. In every video, we pushed for playful and dynamic transitions to amp up the visual interest. While working on this project, our team thoroughly enjoyed the odd food-related “pun” here and there. I’m sure you can tell, that these campaigns were totally our jam!
