Lumira

SAP’s Lumira tool visualizes data to tell stories which leads to deeper business insights and more informed decision-making. We decided to build a narrative emphasizing how important visual storytelling is and has been, from the beginning of humanity to today. We also used custom SFX, music, and voice-over to enhance the mood and true feeling of the story.

Our art direction focused on a geometric 2D and 3D style, creating a world that felt both cinematic and digital. The origin scenes used warm colours, whereas the present-day scenes were described through cold and chaotic imagery. In the end, we created a visually engaging 2-minute piece that demonstrates the purpose and importance of data visualization.
